Production process

From apple to apple juice

1. The apples are purchased in bulk from the Limburg auctions: BFV (Belgische Fruitveiling) – Veiling Borgloon – Veiling Haspengouw and are delivered directly to the Konings 2 production site.

2. The apples are transported to the washing installation by water.

3. The apples are washed in the washing installation, after which they are checked and sorted manually.

4. After checking, the selected apples are ground and squeezed so that the juice is separated from the pulp. This produces 100% cloudy apple juice.

5. This cloudy juice is stored in refrigerated silos ready for transport or it is transported via an underground system of pipes to the Konings 1 production site.

6. The juice is bottled at the Konings 1 site in glass bottles, cans or Prisma Packs.
